Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on every page of this site.
What has been done
- Semantic HTML with real landmarks — header, nav, main, footer — and a heading order that does not skip levels.
- A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element on every page.
- Full keyboard operability. Every interactive element is reachable and has a visible focus ring in the accent green.
- Contrast verified against the 4.5:1 threshold for body text, including text set over photographs, which are darkened specifically so the text clears it.
- The single animation on the site — the readiness graphic on the home page — is disabled under
prefers-reduced-motion. - Descriptive alt text on all three photographs.
- No layout shift on load, and no horizontal scrolling at 360, 768, 1280, or 1920 pixels wide.
Known limitations
None known. Every page is scanned with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, and the current build returns zero violations. That is an automated check: it catches a meaningful share of problems, not all of them. If you hit something it missed, we want to hear about it.
Reporting a problem
Email hello@noorad.us and describe the page and what went wrong. Tell us what assistive technology and browser you were using if you can — it makes the fix much faster. We aim to respond within five business days.
